Our leasing partners (job bike, business bike, etc.) work together with insurance companies so that you are covered in the event of theft. The scope and terms of insurance depend on the leasing partner through which the service bike was handled.
Jobrad for example:
Immediately report the theft of your JobRad to the responsible police station, stating the frame number, and document the damage with meaningful photos.
Then report the damage directly to assona GmbH.
For the initial damage report, we currently recommend the damage portal of assona GmbH, as telephone availability is currently very limited due to many inquiries.
via the claims portal of assona GmbH or
by telephone at 030 208666-24 (Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) or
by e-mail to kundenservice@assona.com
To report the damage, you need the claim number (KAU number) of your JobRad. You can find this in your employer's myJobRad portal under "My JobRads".
Further checking and processing will take place exclusively there.
Please wait until the insurance company has checked the claim. If the insurance company accepts the damage-related costs (= "settlement"), you will receive a corresponding confirmation from them. What happens next depends on your decision:
You do not want a new JobRad?
There is nothing left for you to do. As soon as the insurance claim has been finally processed, your individual leasing contract will automatically end and the salary conversion will be terminated by your employer.
You want a new JobRad?
As soon as the damage or theft has been settled by the insurance company, you can request a new JobRad. We ask you to wait for a corresponding message from us.
